Day 1 Nairobi –Masai Mara
You will be met by our company Representative and after a short briefing on 5 days Budget Masai Mara safari. Drive to Masai Mara national Reserve the world’s famous game reserve where one can see all the big 5 of Africa within a day. The reserve also hosts the annual wildebeest migration that crosses the Mara river from Serengeti around July every year. Our drive to the reserves passes through the most scenic part of the great Rift valley area which is endowed by a wide range of birds. After lunch we go for the evening game drive at the reserve to search for animals like wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, Buffalos, Elephants, Lions, Rhinos and many more. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Full day Masai Mara
Day 2 of 5 days Budget Masai Mara safari marks the most waited wildlife experience with a full day exploration of the Reserve. We start the day with African breakfast then go for a whole day game drives to search for wildlife in their natural habitat. The reserve is well-known for its high concentration of Elephants and large prides of lions. It was in Masai mara that the best wildlife film Born Free was filmed. The reserve has other animals like Elephants, Cheetahs, Leopards, Wildebeest, antelope, Kobs and many more bird species. Return to our lodge in the evening
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha:
With our rich previous yesterday memories, we have our last breakfast in Masai mara as we check-out of our lodge and drive to Lake Naivasha. The park is located around the fresh water lake which is a home to a variety of wildlife including 400 bird species. Lying south of Lake Naivasha, Hells Gate National park is truly living volcanic arena. With major attractions including; geothermal power Station, variety of wildlife, Fischer’s tower, Raptors nests and spectacular gorge walks.
Day 4: Solio game reserve
After our breakfast in our lodge, this day we to Central Highland and by the slopes of the Aberdares Ranges to Solio Game Reserve a home of Rhinos. This is a point you will finalize on the long list of African big 5 in 5 days Budget Masai Mara safari. Enjoy game drive at the reserve before we drive to our lodge for lunch. In the evening embark on the evening game drive which will help us see more when the weather is low.
Solio National Reserve
This private owned protected Reserve is geared towards the Rhino conservation. The Rhino being part of the big five, Solio reserve is recognized as one of the most successful Rhino breeding reserve in Kenya, the animals live in harmony with other wildlife including lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, zebra and other plains game…..
Day 5; Solio-Nairobi city
You will drive leisurely back to Nairobi and later transfer to the Airport for your flight back home. End of our 5 days Budget Masai Mara safari
