6 days Masai Mara wildlife safari is a tour which will start and end in Nairobi before you take part in a wildlife viewing experience around Masai Mara national reserve for game drives, guided nature walks and also a hot air balloon safari.
You will search for various wildlife species during the Kenya safari including the big five such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos among other wildlife species around the savannah plains.
Day 1; arrival and optional city tour
Your safari will start with pick up from the airport in Nairobi where your guide will welcome you for the safari. After a short briefing, you will be driven to the hotel in Nairobi for check in.
Depending on your time of arrival, you will engage in a Nairobi city tour around Nairobi and visit different places around the city. After the Nairobi city tour, you will be driven to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2; drive to Masai Mara reserve
After having breakfast at the hotel in Nairobi, your guide will drive you to Masai Mara reserve in the south western part of Kenya.
You will have a stop in Narok town on the way to Maasai Mara reserve where you will engage in an evening game drive. During the game drive, you will search for wildlife species such as wildebeests, predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, you will also see elephants, giraffes, elands, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, hippos, buffalos, rhinos among others. After the game drive you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; hot air balloon safari and afternoon game drive
On the 3rd day of your 6 days Masai Mara wildlife safari, You will wake up early at the lodge and you will be driven to the landing site for the hot air balloons for your briefing. You will start the activity as early as before sunrise and watch as the hot air balloons are being inflated to prepare for the hot air balloon ride.
During your hot air balloon experience in Masai Mara reserve, you will enjoy views of the open savannah plains, photography of the beautiful scenery and also see wildlife species in the plains below like giraffes, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, impalas among others. After the hot air balloon experience, you will also engage in a game drive around Masai Mara. After the game drive, you will be driven to the lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4; morning and night game drive
After waking up early at the lodge, you will engage in a morning game drive around Masai Mara national reserve where you will search for wildlife species such as elephants, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffalos, hippos among others.
You will have lunch and return to the lodge after the game drive and you will relax at the lodge. Later in the evening, you will engage in a night game drive and enjoy seeing nocturnal wildlife species of the Mara. After the night game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; morning game drive and afternoon game drives
On the 5th day of your 6 days Masai Mara wildlife safari, You will wake up early for a morning game drive around Masai Mara reserve where you will search for different wildlife species in the savannah plains. You will have lunch after the morning game drive and later engage in an afternoon game drive around Mara and look out for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, antelopes and many others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6; departure
After breakfast at the lodge, you will start your journey from Masai Mara reserve back to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at the airport which will bring the tour to an end.
