Savannas we may say these are the most noticed features of Serengeti National Park, these rolling grasslands are dotted with acacia trees and provide graving ground for herbivores such as wildebeest, Zebras and elephants, the open plains are idea for predators like lions and cheetahs, creating a safe space for them.

Woodlands are smaller pockets of woodland are spread throughout the park consisting primarily of acacia and mopane trees. These areas offer refuge to numerous bird species and serve as critical habitat for other mammals.

Rivers and Marshlands, The Serengeti is home to several important rivers such as The grumeti and Mara rivers. These water bodies provide water for some people that surround the park, they are source of water for the wildlife as well throughout year.
