6 days Kenya safari is a tour which will take place around different destinations in Kenya including Masai Mara reserve, Lake Nakuru national park and also Amboseli national park. The tour will start in Nairobi and will also end in Nairobi.
You will take part in a number of activities during the safari including game drives, visiting the giraffe center and you will also take part in a hot air balloon safari ride during the Kenya Safari Tour.
Day 1; pick up from Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara
Your guide will pick you up from the airport in Nairobi and after a short briefing; you will be driven through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National reserve. You will have a stop in Narok and then proceed to Masai Mara.
You will also engage in an evening game drive in the reserve and search for wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, giraffes, kudu, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras among others. You will have dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara camp.
Day 2; hot air balloon safari and afternoon game drives
You will wake up early and you will be driven by your guide to site for the hot air balloons for your briefing. As you enjoy the sunrise, you will watch as the hot air balloons are being inflated to prepare for your activity. During your hot air balloon experience, you will see the different attractions around the Masai Mara national reserve as you glide over the open savannah plains. You will enjoy photography of the beautiful scenery filled with wildlife in the savannah below.
You will have lunch in the wilderness of the reserve as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the wildlife species grazing and roaming in the distant plains. After lunch, you will have another game drive where you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, elands, wildebeest, zebras, topis among others. After your afternoon game drive, you will return to your lodge where you will have dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara camp.
Day 3; Transfer from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru national park
On the 3rd day of your 6 days Kenya safari, You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge. After checking out of the lodge, you will have an en route game drive in Masai Mara as you proceed to Lake Nakuru national park.
In Nakuru national park you will engage in a game drive and search for wildlife species such as rhinos, lions, warthogs, waterbucks among others. You will also see different bird species such as the colorful flamingos on the shores of Lake Nakuru. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Zziwa bush lodge.
Day 4; drive to Amboseli national park
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will check out of the lodge. After checking out of the lodge, you will be driven to Amboseli national park and you will have a stopover in Nairobi where you will have lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to national park where you will check in at your lodge. You will have an evening game drive where you will see a variety of wildlife species as you watch the beautiful sunset in the national park with the backdrop of Mountain Kilimanjaro. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli lodge.
Day 5; Full Day Amboseli national park
You will have breakfast at your lodge ahead of your full day of wildlife viewing in the national park. You will have a morning game drive where you will see a variety of wildlife species since they are more active at this time of day as you also enjoy the beautiful sunrise with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will see wildlife species such as elephants, lions, zebra, giraffe, hippo among others. After your morning game drive, you will have a lunch break as you enjoy the beauty of nature around the national park. After lunch, you will have another game drive after which you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli lodge.
Day 6; drive to Nairobi and visit giraffe center and departure
On the 6th day of your 6 days Kenya safari, You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge. After checking out of the lodge, you will start your journey to Nairobi. On this day, you will have lunch and also visit the giraffe center.
After visiting the giraffe center, your guide will drop you off at the airport which will mark the end of your safari.
