12 days wildlife and gorilla safari is an awesome Uganda safari that takes you to the Uganda’s top highlight tourism destinations.
Day 1.: Arrival Entebbe Airport – Kampala
You’ll be met by our company representative upon arrival at Entebbe airport, and transfer to Kampala fro your dinner and overnight at the lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, and Dinner.
Day 2: Kampala to Lake Mburo
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National park for a game drive. We will have a stop over at Equator for pictures. After we then continue to the park check in our lodge for lunch and refreshments. After lunch go for afternoon game drive to look for wildlife like: zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, topi and elands including the rare shoebill, crested crane, pelicans, fish eagle, heron and many water birds. Evening boat cruise amidst the Hippos is amazing. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge . Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Lake Mburo(Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise)
Morning game drive in the open Savannah Plains of the park which inhabits different game like Zebra, Impala, Giraffes, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other Savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc. The evening is spent on an evening boat cruise amidst the Hippos is amazing and relaxing at the top of the water with scenic views of nature. Dinner and overnight at the lodge .Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Lake Mburo to Bwindi
After breakfast set off to Bwindi passing through scenic beauty slopes and the Switzerland of Africa the Kigesi highlands. Reaching in your lodge late in the afternoon rest as we wait for lunch to be served. In the evening is our relaxing eve with optional community walks available.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast set off early with guides to the park headquarters for briefing. After briefing you will go to track gorillas in Bwindi. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each gorilla safari encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6: Bwindi to Queen via Ishasha
After our breakfast we transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. The drive takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment and the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha sector. WE have a game drive as we look for the tree climbing lions, Elephants, hyeansa, Topis, gazelles, oribi and many other game at the park. After the game drive we proceed to our lodge for lunch and relaxing afternoon. In the evening we may go for evening game drive in Kasenyi side commonly known as the mating ground. Return to our lodge for diner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 7: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat
Rise very early with your packed lunch take on a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. You will most likely meet grazing Hippos, Elephants, and Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush buck, water buck, stripped jackal, comical warthogs and the elusive leopard. After lunch, take on an afternoon Launch cruise along Kazinga Channel – one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippo, buffalo, kob and the occasional Nile crocodile (which up until recently did not inhabit this area) and a spectacular bird watching on the water bank. Dinner and overnight at our lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth national park to Kibale forest national park
After morning cup of tea, go for morning game drive to search for all what we missed in the previous days then after drive to Kibale Forest National park, we have a chance to view the Rwenzori Mountains from short range. Reaching at late afternoon check in out lodge for lunch and relaxing in the afternoon in the creator lake zone. Dinner and overnight at overnight at our lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon swamp walk
After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. It is home to our closest living relatives the endangered Chimpanzee, the threatened Red colobus monkey and the rare L’hoest’s monkey. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and white colobus, Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and Bush babies and Pottos. After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 10: Kabale to Murchison falls
On this day we will drive North ward edge of Uganda, through winding agricultural lands, where villagers and their children show their friendly nature and wave out and you may glimpse the Ugandan way of rural life. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 11: Murchison falls
Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee. After your cup of coffee, cross the Nile by ferry to the northern bank of the park. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17km stretch you may see elephants, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and crocodiles Fort Murchison Lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 12: Murchison to Entebbe Stop at Ziwa
Begin the panoramic drive South-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and, travel to Kampala via Ziwa Rhino Project. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must. After lunch, drive to Murchison at the spectacularly situated site at the top of the fall where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7 meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile…”the Murchison Falls “. Proceed to Kampala or Entebbe for your late eveining flight back home.
