3 days Uganda gorilla tracking safari from Kigali, land in Kigali Rwanda and trek Gorillas in Uganda as you save more money and time during your Gorilla safari.
Day 1: Pickup from Kigali & Transfer to Bwindi
Following your arrival, your guide from Serengeti national park safaris will pick you up from the airport or any other agreed place of pick up in Kigali. We will have brief briefing by the driver guide as you are will be warmly welcomed to Africa. We start our drive with a short tour of Kigali city that includes a visit to Kimironko market and the genocide memorial. After we will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park crossing into Uganda through Katuna or Kyanika boarder. There will be lunch break at enroute before we head to Uganda. Check in our lodge for refreshments dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 2 Gorilla trekking
Wake up to a tasty breakfast in the biting coldness of Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee, grab your packed lunch and head out to the pack headquarters. You will be driven to the park for briefing and do Gorilla tracking. Here, you will receive briefing about the dos and don’ts of Gorilla trekking in Bwindi by Uganda wildlife Authority ranger, know which group you will be visiting and set off with your head guide.
Enter the forest in search of the Gorillas and upon finding them, you will be allowed to spend up to a maximum of hour with them. You will then be led back to the park headquarters for our last ceremony of the day. We return back to our lodge for some rest, in the evening we have more optional activities like community walk, birding and many more. Dinner and overnight at our lodge.
Day 3; Transfer back to Kigali and Departure
Have breakfast and transfer back to Kigali. Drop-off at the airport for your onward flight.
