15 days Uganda primates and culture tour is a tour which will take you across different parts of Uganda on a culture and primates safari. You will also engage in game drives, gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking during this Uganda tour.
You will visit Murchison falls national park, Kibale national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Bwindi national park, Lake Bunyonyi, and also Lake Mburo national park.
Day 1; arrival
You will be picked up by your guide who will welcome you and you will have a short briefing about your safari and you will be driven to the hotel in Entebbe for check in.

Day 2; pick up and drive to Murchison falls national park
You will be picked up from the hotel in Entebbe after breakfast and then start the journey to Murchison falls national park which is the largest national park in Uganda. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours’ drive and on the way you will have a stopover at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will track rhinos. After the interesting rhino tracking which takes about 2 hours you will continue the journey to Masindi town for lunch and after lunch you will proceed to Murchison falls national park. Upon arrival in the park you will continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; game drive and boat ride
After having breakfast, you will engage in a game drive around Murchison falls national park where you will spot various wildlife species like elephants, giraffes, lions, kobs and many others. You will have lunch after your morning game drive.
In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride to the bottom of the falls and you will enjoy seeing the Murchison falls as well as hippos and crocodiles. You will return to your lodge after the launch cruise for dinner and for overnight.

Day 4; drive to Kibale national park
On the 4th day of your 15 days Uganda primates and culture tour, After having breakfast, you will be met by your guide as you prepare for your drive to Kibale forest national park. You will spend about 7 to 8 hours driving and also have lunch en route. You will proceed to your lodge where you will have your dinner and spend the night.

Day 5; chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi walk
After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to the Kanyachu park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated an experienced park guide and start trekking in the forest in search of chimpanzees. Trekking of chimpanzees in Kibale national park takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located because they like to move from one area to another in search of food. During trekking you will be rewarded with views of other primates like l’hoest monkeys, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, views of different bird species among others. once the chimpanzees are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their environment which helps you to watch them feed, play, fight, hunt, rest, observe their behaviors, take photos and record videos while on Uganda Safaris Tours.
After the one hour encounter with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the park headquarters. You will also engage in a Bigodi swamp walk and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6; drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park and you will arrive late in the afternoon and spend the rest of the evening at your lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7; game drive/lion tracking and boat cruise on Kazinga channel
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to spot different animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks which will be grazing in open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas which will be looking for a morning hunt, view bird species among others. After the game drive you will have lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise
After lunch you will go for an interesting boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that connect lake Edward and lake George. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours, you will be able to view large herds of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, fish eagles, king fisher’s among others. After the boat ride you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 8; drive to Bwindi national park
On the 8th day of your 15 days Uganda primates and culture tour, Your guide will drive you to Bwindi national park after breakfast at your lodge. You will drive for about 5 to 6 hours and also have an en route lunch on the way to Bwindi national park. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 9; gorilla trekking and optional Batwa tour
On the 9th day of your 15 days Uganda primates and culture tour, After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with different gorilla trekking trails.
During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos. After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation.
You will have an optional community visit where you will interact with the local community and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10; drive to Lake Bunyonyi and evening boat cruise
You will have breakfast at your lodge and then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi where you will spend the whole day enjoying boat trips and visiting the islands. You will return to your lodge after you experience at Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 12; visit the islands on Lake Bunyonyi and community tour
After breakfast at the lodge, you will spend the day visiting the islands around Lake Bunyonyi and also get a community tour experience.

Day 11; drive to Emburara farm for Ankole cultural experience
You will have breakfast at the lodge ahead of a tour to Emburara farm. You will check in at the hotel and prepare for lunch. After lunch you will take part in a cultural experience and get to know more about the Ankole culture. You will also enjoy traditional dance performances.

Day 13; tour in Lake Mburo national park
On the 13th day of your 15 days Uganda primates and culture tour, You will have breakfast at your hotel ahead of your drive to Lake Mburo national park and after this you will be driven to Lake Mburo national park where you will engage in a nature walk to get closer to nature and see wildlife species on foot.
After lunch, you will have engage in a game drive and search for wildlife species such as topis, duiker, oribi, buffalos, klipspringer, warthogs, impala among others. You will be driven by your guide back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 14; morning game drive and boat ride
After breakfast, you will engage in a morning game drive around Lake Mburo national park. During the morning game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species as you explore the savannah plains.
After your morning game drive, you will have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. During the boat cruise, you will watch the beautiful sunset as you cruise on the waters of Lake Mburo where you will see wildlife species as they graze not far from the lake shores such as Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, antelopes hiding behind marshes. You will also see a variety of birds during the boat ride. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 15; departure
You will proceed to Entebbe where your guide will drop you off at the airport which will bring the safari to an end.
