6 Days Tanzania Safari Tour : One of Tanzania’s most stunning wildlife regions, Lake Manyara National Park, located at the foot of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley and features a small but enormous soda lake is included in this superb 6 days Tanzania safari package. The park’s size and notoriety for its tree-climbing lions make it ideal for a single day of wildlife viewing. The Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness covering 14,500 square kilometers, is another stop on this safari vacation. Here, every day provides a new landscape and a new adventure.

Your 6 days Tanzania safari will also take you to Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which are home to some of the continent’s most abundant wildlife and conceivably the densest population of predators and carnivores. Here, you may see an incredible display of African wildlife in a self-contained environment packed with creatures. Last but not least, your 6 days Tanzania safari itinerary will also take you to Tarangire National Park, which is one of the best Tanzania National park but is less crowded, untouched, and has a raw, untamed beauty.

The most well-known parks in Tanzania are included in this year-round safari. You can take advantage of the calving season, which lasts from December to April, when the wildebeest return to the lush grasslands of Tanzania’s southern Serengeti after completing their annual journey. You can see the sight of the wildebeest river crossing, when more than a million animals try to cross the Mara River while dodging the local crocodiles, from July to October.

DAY 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at your Arusha lodging, you will be picked up and driven to Tarangire National Park by your private tour guide. If you have just arrived at the airport, our guide will meet you there and drive you there after giving you a brief introduction to your tour. You will enjoy full day Tarangire National Park game drive with your packed lunch which will be taken in the middle of the game drive in the bush.

There are nine different vegetation zones in Tarangire’s varied topography. Ancient Baobab trees, the biggest trees in Africa, are scattered over the countryside, dwarfing the creatures that graze beneath them. A wide range of animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and a variety of colorful birds, are drawn to the Tarangire River, which meanders through the park. You will get the opportunity to silently observe numerous elephant families interacting in the park, which is well known for having the largest elephant population in Tanzania. Continue game viewing after stopping for a picnic lunch inside the park, where you can see animals taking water from the river (and frequently lions fighting a thirsty zebra or wildebeest) before returning to your campsite for dinner.

The magical park, which is just 205 square miles in size, is renowned for its beauty and exceptionally thick acacia woodland with enormous fig and mahogany trees, which is home to baboon and blue monkey tribes. The park is also home to several elephants, giraffes, buffalos, elands, impalas, and a lake with many hippos that congregate there frequently. With almost 400 distinct types of birds, Lake Manyara is well recognized for being one of the few spots where you may observe the Ground Hornbill and the Crested Eagle. The climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore have made this park famous. Some parks have very beautiful landscapes, very dissimilar from the Serengeti, for instance. The wildlife drives are conducted along the lake’s coast, offering breathtaking views of giraffes, buffalo, the lake, flamingos, and open plains in the distance. Excellent chances to take pictures! DAY 3-4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

You will be visiting the renowned Serengeti National Park, which is the Great Migration’s home, today. Today’s journey is stunning as you ascend the crater highlands and pause at the rim to take in the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater from above. The huge Serengeti is spread out in front of you as you go forward and crest the ridge. More than 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles, live in this 6,900-square-mile (18,000-square-kilometer) park known as the Serengeti, which in Kiswahili means “endless plains.” This abundance of moving prey, which attracts large predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, draws them to the location. Around 500 kinds of birds and several smaller animals, including rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, and African hares, live there.

There is an option to stop at the renowned Oldupai Gorge on the route into the Serengeti, which is where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey found the first man to walk on the planet. You’ll have time to visit the modest museum after listening to a brief talk on the geology of the gorge and the archaeological excavation that took place there.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGOROGORO

6 Days Tanzania Safari Tour
Ngorongoro Crater

On the 5th day of your 6 Days Tanzania Safari Tour , To see the animals when they are more active and to enjoy a spectacular sunrise in front of you, you will rise extremely early today in order to go on a safari before breakfast. One of the most beautiful things you may see is the sunrise in the African Savannah. Return to the camp for lunch after the game drive. Transfer to Ngorongoro, the eighth wonder of the natural world, in the afternoon. The crater, which has 2,000-foot-high walls and a 102-square-mile crater floor, is home to nearly all of East Africa’s native wildlife species, including the endangered black rhino. In fact, the crater is home to the planet’s highest concentration of wildlife. It has a river, various wetlands, a soda lake filled with flamingos that, from above, appears to be steam, a forest, and open plains. Due to the strong mineral richness of the volcanic soil and its grasses, the huge bull elephants who call this place home have extraordinarily long tusks. In my opinion, these are the most amazing elephants you’ll ever see. Arriving in the late afternoon at Ngorongoro, There’s a chance to embark on an afternoon walking safari in the Ngorongoro Mountains.

Ø  Budget: Karatu tented lodge/ Hhando Coffee lodge

Ø  Mid-Range: Karatu Simba Lodge

Ø  Luxury: Serena Ngorongoro Lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (Luxury+)

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

On the 6th day of your 6 Days Tanzania Safari Tour , Descent to the crater floor very early in the morning for a day of wildlife observation in one of the most amazing locations on Earth. After stopping for a picnic lunch next to the hippo lake and continuing your wildlife viewing in the late afternoon, head back to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport in time for your flight home, capping out your six-day safari trip to Tanzania.

Option: Spend an additional day at Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village, a traditional Maasai village 40 kilometers outside Arusha that isn’t at all a staged tourist attraction. In fact, a lot of tourists who come to Tanzania say that their time there was the best part of their trip. A Maasai Chief will lead the trip and show you the village, the way the Maasai live, their customs, how they care for their cattle, how they cook, what and how they study, how they dance, etc. You will also have the opportunity to see a traditional dance performed by the village women.
